Improve Receiption with a
Cell Phone Booster
Part of my job is being constantly on the move as I visit one client after another. Because
I'm in my car most of the time, I rely to a great extent on my cellular phone to keep in touch with both clients
and colleagues at the main office. The problem is, I frequently drive out to remote areas where coverage is spotty
at best. But I found out that you can utilize a cell phone booster to improve reception.
A cell phone booster
amplifies the cellular signals received and sent. That gives phones a far greater range. Depending upon which brand
you buy and where you use it, a cell phone booster can oftentimes imcrease signal strength by 200 to 400 percent,
which is a highly noticeable improvement. That way you will be able to make more calls while on the go, because the
number of dropped calls due to weak signals is significantly reduced.
Since you can buy many
different cell phone booster kits, I have to spend some time reviewing the various devices. Since I want an
automotive kit, I'm looking for specific features like ease of installation, portability, and performance. I want
to avoid products that require drilling holes during the installation process. That should be possible, since there
are plenty of magnetic or stick-on options available. Portability also is a factor, so it should be possible to use
the cell phone booster kit in any vehicle, including rentals. When it comes to performance you have to decide how
much improvement you need and how much you are willing to pay for it.
Allthough I need a cell
phone booster primarily for my car, there are home and office setups available too. Since I currently live in an
area with pretty good coverage I don't need one just yet. But it's still good to know that these products exist. If
I ever move to a rural area, a home cell phone booster will be the very first item I buy!
I will spend the hole
weekend checking out the top automotive cell phone booster kits, and hopefully buy one and get it installed within
the next week. It'll be a great relief to know that I can keep in touch with civilization even in sparsely
inhabited places.
